Our Middle School encompasses Grades Five through Eight.
Recognizing that the needs of students change at various age levels, the Middle School concept is used in Grades Five through Eight. There are two teams of faculty on the Middle School level: 5-6 team and 7-8 team. Faculty on each team specialize in a particular subject area: English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science and Social Studies. Students receive instruction in the major subject areas in a departmental fashion.
Our goal is to graduate faith-filled, compassionate young men and women who are critical, reflective thinkers who possess a global awareness and acknowledge the importance of cultural diversity.
The Middle School curriculum is enhanced
by classes in Computers, Foreign Language, Art, Music, Library Studies, Science Lab, Physical Education and SMART BOARD, iPad and Video Conferencing Technology.
Art, Music, Computer and Library Studies are taught in nine week blocks. Students attend these classes each day and engage in interdisciplinary activities which correlate with and enhance classroom instruction in the major subjects.
Enrichment, Academic Support and Special Education Services are offered to those who qualify.
Advanced Classes are offered to eighth grade
All students take High School Regents Living Environment Science; High School Regents Integrated Algebra is offered to those who qualify.
