First Grade

About Mrs. LaRosa

I grew up in East Northport for most of my life, but recently purchased my first home in Nesconset. I received my bachelors degree in English Education from the University of Delaware. In addition, I have my masters in TESOL K-12 from Hofstra, as well as my certification in Childhood Education.  I taught at St. Joseph's School in Garden City for the past two years. I am so excited to join the Trinity Regional School family!

Welcome Students!

It is so exciting to have all of you in our First Grade class. This year will be amazing. We will be building on the skills that you learned in kindergarten. First Grade is a year when you are developing and building your foundational skills. You will learn about our Catholic Church and the Catholic community to which we belong. You will continue learning to decode, build your sight word vocabulary, develop fluency skills, and comprehend written material. We will solve problems in math, visit the science lab, and continue to learn Spanish. I look forward to teaching you and watching you grow, both spiritually and academically.
