Welcome to Library!

Mrs. Jonke has been a teacher at Trinity Regional School since September 2001.  She has a B.A. degree from Long Island University, C.W. Post Center and a M.S. degree from Dowling College.  At Trinity Regional, Mrs. Jonke has been the computer teacher for grades 1-8; has taught 5th and 6th grade ELA; and 6th, 7th and 8th grade Social Studies.  This year she is the Trinity library teacher for grades Pre K - 8 and is enjoying getting to know all the students at Trinity.

In grades PreK-3 in library class the students are exposed to a variety of genres.  ELA skills are reinforced through various activities. 

In grades 4-8 library class focuses on research and is a project based learning approach.  I feel blessed to teach at such a wonderful school.
