Welcome to Pre-K!

Professionaly, Mrs. Jendzo's teaching career spans more than 30 years. She has had the pleasure of teaching at Trinity Regional School since it began in 1992. Mrs. Jendzo is a permanently certified teacher for New York State with a concetration in Early Childhood. Her love of teaching has always been with Pre-K and Nursery age children. Personally, Mrs. Jendzo is a lifelong resident of Huntington Township where she lives with her husband Richard. They have four grown children and five grandchildren to keep them busy.

Our Pre-K programs' goals are to work with each child and give that child the basic skills needed for academic, physical, and social development. The children develop personal and social skills with us that enable them to function well within the social setting of the classroom. They are encouraged to express themselves through their questions, comments and actions. Developing listening skills is an important part of our Pre-K progrm. The children will learn readiness skills for Kindergarten that include the alphabet, phonetic awareness, early literacy skills, as well as simple math, counting and patterning skills. We devlop spiritual values through our religion program, service projects and prayer. It's a place for making new friends and the freedom to be creative in a warm positive enviroment.
