    Pre-K

  • About Mrs. DeRosa

My name is Patricia DeRosa and I am a Pre-K teacher at Trinity Regional School. I am a graduate of Brooklyn College and have both my Bachelors and Masters degrees in Early Childhood Education. I grew up in Brooklyn and started my teaching career there at St. Jerome’s. I moved to Hauppauge where I live with my daughters and husband. I joined the Trinity family in 1997 and taught four years prior.  During my time at Trinity Regional I have taught 3rd grade, Pre-K, Nuersery, and Kindergarten. I am very happy and excited to be teaching Pre-K.

    What is your favorite book?

A Bad Case of the Stripes A Tree Grows In Brooklyn

    Who is your favorite saint?

    St. Jerome
“We must love Christ and always seek Christ’s embrace. Then everything difficult will seem easy”

    Favorite Scripture Verse:

Train up a child in the way he should go, Even when he is old he will not depart from it. - Proverbs 22:6

  • Welcome Students!

I am so happy to have you all in my Pre-K class this year! We are going to have a great time learning and making friends. It will be a year filled with fun and excitement! We will be learning our letters and sounds, counting and sorting in Math and doing many fun projects. I am looking forward to a great school year!

    Dear Families!

I am very excited to welcome you and your children to our Pre-K classroom! This year is going to be filled with so much excitement, learning and growth for your children. As a class, they will learn important key concepts such as letter recognition, letter sounds, religion, handwriting, colors, shapes and so much more. Trinity Regional’s Pre-K students will be following Fundations Heggarty, and HMH Math Expressions has their writing and math programs.

Most importantly, our students learn how to be friends and share. They are taught about Jesus’s love and how he invites us all to be his friend. As a class we pray each day, we practice kindness and love towards each other. I look forward to learning and growing alongside your children!
